I have not felt this way about Grey's Anatomy since Season 2. Oh My Freaking God. I could watch this episode over and over again. Where to even begin? I don't really have anything meaningful to say but...

The Blanche of old would have leant towards the 'bonkers' close mindedness but after physics study and countless Doctor Who marathons it seems kind of improbable that of the billions and trillions of stars in the galaxy, ours is the only one at the centre of life. They're limits to the amount of thought and suspicion I put into UFO's and aliens (with the exception of everyone's favourite sneaker wearing time Lord of course ;) but I do think life's out there.

Before I begin I want to make it very clear that I will love the fic regardless of whether you take this letter into consideration or not. If you decide to go down a completely different path then that's absolutely fine. Feel free to do whatever you want :) This just details some general preferences you might like to take on board if you're looking for ideas.
I went for Mark/Lexie and Mark/Addy and really, with those two pairings anything goes with me. That's probably rather unhelpful but anyway... :D I also chose gen; George, Izzie and Meredith.
Mark/lexie
Gah. Love them. Don't know why. My brain just clicked and screamed; 'Awesome pairing!' I'll probably love anything you write with these two - I'm a bit of a sucker for happy endings but I do adore the angst. With this pairing I'm probably more interested in situation development as opposed to character exploration and I freaking adore anything that delves into their future.
Mark/Addy
I wasn't actually a fan until the baby revelation. Every time I re-watch the whole Meredith/Derek/Addison/Mark fiasco between season two and three the Maddison relationship makes no sense to me until the baby episode. That episode brings about the same 'Oh I like this ship don't I?' reaction every single time I watch it. So anything to do with that I will undoubtedly love. The baby thing always gets me interested in their history too, how they met, how the affair began, etc etc. Anything that delves into their past.
Gen Fic
I'm probably more interested in character exploration in this. The first few episodes of season one that detail the interaction between Izzie, Meredith and George (when they were al friends and everything was simple) really appeal to me. That said, I would by no means object to any sex!angst.
